5:45 AM – Ooh, that noisy box is going off again …. time to play!!
7:00 AM – She’s gone … I hope She comes back … Yawn
11:00 AM – I love my brothers … oh, I hope they’ll play with me today!
1:30 PM – Where should I take my nap … maybe right here by big brother?
6:30 PM – I hear the garage door … maybe it’s Her … She came home!
7:30 PM – Hello? I’ve missed You all day! Time to play, not work!
8:45 PM – Purrr … the best place of all to be is curled up on Her lap. ❤ ❤ ❤
11:30 PM – She’s going to bed already … seriously? What did SHE do all day?
If you haven’t heard about Mama Kat’s Writer’s Workshop, here’s the scoop:
She sends out 4-5 prompts to write about – I think on Monday or Tuesday. You pick the one that you like and anytime between Thursday of that week and the next Wednesday night, you post what you’ve written, link up on her site, and then go enjoy what others have written. The week for writing is nearly over, but I thought this sounded like great fun and I wanted to participate. It’s beyond my ability (apparently) to dive in simply, so I decided to weave two of her prompts into one (write a post in only 8 lines and a day in the life of your pet). The second was such a challenge for me as brevity is not my gift, but what fun this was!
