I give this book four stars. It’s a story of second chances in love and life.
Beth and Andrew are high school sweethearts and seemingly have everything going for them in life. But Andrew’s job as a literary agent begins to take over his life and Beth feels the neglect, even doubting Andrew’s love for her.
After a last minute work trip just before Christmas and a gut-wrenching series of events, Andrew must fight to show Beth that ultimately, his love for her is the most important thing in his life.
This is a short story and a very quick read, but I’d recommend it to you, especially if you are in the mood for a heart-warming story. Don’t be deceived – you will think within a few pages of the beginning that you know exactly how the story will end. But Miller’s expert character and plot development will leave you wondering all the way to the end.
I enjoyed this book and will be looking for other books by Robert Tate Miller soon!
